Big Time BBQ Rub
Yield:
1/2 cups
Notes:
This is a nice dry rub that creates a flavorful glazed exterior on the meat. The salt here is half the original and is still a bit on the salty side for our tastes.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup salt
1/2 cup Turbinado sugar
1/4 cup granulated brown sugar
1 Tbl granulated garlic
1 Tbl granulated onion
2 Tbl s paprika
2 Tbl chili powder
2 Tbl freshly ground black pepper
2 tsp s cayenne
1 Tbl thyme leaves
1 Tbl ground cumin
1 tsp ground nutmeg
Preparation:
Mix ingredients together and store in an airtight container.
