In 2009 I made a tremendous buy of tri-tip as an exercise in freezer management and tri-tip cookery. This fairly simple recipe came up pretty high on Google, suggesting its fairly well-liked and linked to. For being simple its mighty tasty.
Even with reduced-sodium soy and teriyaki this ends up a little on the salty side.
Ingredients

1/4 cup

teriyaki sauce,
reduced salt preferred
|

1/4 cup
|
soy sauce,
reduced salt preferred
|
|
1/4 cup
|
red wine
|
|
|
minced garlic or garlic powder,
to taste
|
|
|
pepper,
to taste
|

tri-tip
|
Preparation
Marinate tri-tip overnight or longer
