generous pinch

five spice powder
|

3 Tbl

peanut or sunflower oil,
divided

green onion,
sliced

garlic clove,
crushed

small green bell pepper,
seeded and chopped

1/2 cup
|
fresh bean sprouts
|
|
3 cups
|
cooked white rice
|

3 Tbl

light soy sauce
|

1 Tbl

sesame oil
|
Preparation
Mix eggs, salt, pepper and five spice powder. In a large frying pan heat one Tbl of oil until quite hot. Fry the egg mixture like an omelet, pulling the mixture away from the sides.
Remove egg from pan when firm then chop into small strips.
Heat remaining oil and fry the onion, garlic, bell pepper and bean sprouts for 2 minutes before stirring in rice, soy sauce, sesame oil and egg.
Serve immediately.
