Notes
Dennis's wife Maureen makes some of the BEST sangria on the planet and I've yet to really want to go finding an alternate recipe just yet. Since I don't have that one just yet, this'll hafta do...

Preparation
Put water and sugar in saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Slice fruit thinly and put in sugar water. Let stand at room temperature at least 2 hours. Place in punch bowl or pitcher, reserving one slice of each fruit for each glass. Add other ingredients; sparkling water last. You may chill or add ice. For a sweeter taste, add ginger ale, Sprite or 7-up with or instead of club soda. Also, try orange juice and/or lemonade.
